What we process

Without an account: nothing that identifies you. Your favourites and the listings you discard stay on your device. If you create an alert, we keep your e-mail address and the search.

With an account: your e-mail, your name and phone if provided, your language, favourites, searches, alerts and conversations, and for advertisers their listings, photos and agency page.

When you contact an advertiser: your name, your message and the e-mail or phone you give are sent to that advertiser.

When you report a listing: the reason, your details and, if you give it, your e-mail.

Technical data: server security logs (IP address, date) and listing view counts, with no advertising or ad trackers.

Why

To run the service: publishing and showing listings, putting buyers, tenants and advertisers in touch, sending the alerts and notifications you asked for, moderating content and fighting fraud.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who can see it

The HabitatMaroc team (moderation, support). The advertiser you contact. Our technical providers, only to host and run the service: Supabase (database, files, accounts — European Union), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (e-mail delivery), PostHog (anonymous visit statistics, no cookies — European Union), Apple and Google if you sign in with them.

Some of these providers are outside Morocco; these transfers are limited to what the service needs.

How long

Account: until you delete it. Listings: while online, then deleted with the account. Alerts without an account: until you click “stop” in an e-mail. Contact messages: 2 years. Technical logs: 90 days at most.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification and objection (Law 09-08). You can edit your information in your area, and delete your account at any time from “My space” on the website or “Account” in the app: everything is permanently erased. For any other request: contact@habitatmaroc.com. You can also contact the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).

Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS), data access restricted by strict database rules, passwords never stored in clear text.

Minors

The service is intended for adults. Posting a listing or creating an account is reserved for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
